Petite Arvine is one of Switzerland's prominent white grapes. Plantings are primarily in the Valais. Young wines' flavors are of peach and light tropical fruit, but the wines become honeyed and rich with age. Dry, medium, and sweet examples are produced. Petite Arvine is probably related to fellow Swiss grape Amigne.
